EFAD is an eco-citizen and intercultural educational community.

A lively, personalized approach to teaching stimulates our children's critical thinking skills, making them feel fulfilled, independent and curious.

Philosophy

At EFAD, we believe, like the philosophers of the Enlightenment, that education is responsible for both collective happiness and social progress.

At EFAD, we seek to develop and build a sense of belonging around shared values: citizenship, solidarity, tolerance, secularism, volunteerism, non-violence...

At EFAD, we cultivate the independence of judgment that comes with an open, critical mind.

EcoSchools and the EFE3D Label

EFAD is affiliated with the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) as part of the Eco-Schools program. This affiliation commits us to the creation of projects and activities linked to sustainable development, ecology and other social issues such as gender equality.

Our school has also been awarded the EFE3D label (French establishment abroad with a sustainable development approach), in line with the action plans we have developed with the Eco-Schools federation. We have been at level 2 (out of 3) since June 2023.

French educational establishments abroad offer quality teaching in line with the requirements of the French national education system and underpinned by humanist values: tolerance, freedom of thought, equal opportunity, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, gender equality...

They welcome students of all nationalities: French expatriates, nationals of host countries and third countries. They capitalize on this cultural diversity through innovative teaching methods and an open-minded approach, with particular emphasis on language learning.

They are part of a dynamic and attractive international network that develops particularly enriching joint educational projects.

Being part of a vast global network means that children can follow a seamless education, from kindergarten to the baccalauréat, from one school to another and from one country to another.

Attending a French lycée and passing the baccalauréat open up particularly interesting prospects for higher education, at French or international universities and grandes écoles.
