What is APAD?

This is the EFAD parents' association.

Who we are

The association is made up of all parents of children enrolled at the school. However, those who play an active role in the association are the parents who, at the start of each school year, are elected as parent representatives.

What do we do?

  • We act as a link between EFAD families and the school:

    • We facilitate and strengthen communication between the representative(s), parents, management and teaching teams, as well as the Board of Directors.

    • We actively participate in school projects.

    • We support the integration of newcomers into the EFAD community.

  • We represent all parents on the School Council, where we decide on the school's internal rules and regulations, and give our opinion on teaching structures, the organization of school time and the school calendar, the school project on the recommendation of the teachers' council, matters relating to the hygiene, health and safety of pupils, and issues relating to welcoming pupils and involving families.

  • We also sit on the Board of Directors of the non-profit association EFAD, A.C. and on the scholarship committees.

  • We promote a global, multicultural education, an intergenerational community, exchange and solidarity, notably through cultural and/or recreational events.

What do we do?

By dedicating our time to quality, commitment and professionalism. By thinking strategically and acting as a team.

We have a limited financial fund thanks to occasional contributions from families, but our most important resources are the talent and time of our team.

How can I get involved?

Would you like to be part of a group of parents doing proactive, committed volunteer work for our children's education?

  • Apply as a parent representative or as a representative of your child's class.

  • If you don't want to be elected, but would like to offer your ideas, skills, knowledge and resources to the APAD community, contact us! All contributions are welcome.

Together we're a family!
