¡LONG LIVE MEXICO! The Cry of Independence celebrated at EFAD

Hooray! On Tuesday, September 15, EFAD came alive with the colors and rhythms of Mexico as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

At our three locations, enthusiasm was in the air. To celebrate this great festive and cultural occasion:

• A historic “Grito”: First-grade and sixth-grade students stepped into the shoes of Miguel Hidalgo and other iconic figures of the Independence movement to deliver the traditional “Grito” before all their classmates in preschool, elementary school, and middle school.
• Wearing the country's colors: To fully participate in the celebration, all students were invited to come dressed in Mexico's colors or in traditional attire.

A warm, colorful, and friendly celebration to honor the culture of our beautiful Mexico together!
