¡QUE VIVA MÉXICO! The Grito de la Independencia celebrated at EFAD

¡Vivaaaa! On Tuesday, September 15, EFAD came alive with the colors and rhythms of Mexico as part of the Independence Day celebrations!

At all three of our locations, enthusiasm was in the air. To mark this great festive and cultural occasion:

• A historic “Grito”: First-grade and 6th-grade students stepped into the shoes of Miguel Hidalgo and other iconic figures of the Independence movement to lead the traditional “Grito” in front of all their classmates from preschool, elementary school, and middle school.
• In the colors of the country: To fully participate in the celebration, all students were invited to come dressed in the colors of Mexico or in traditional attire.

A warm, colorful, and festive occasion to celebrate together the culture of our beautiful Mexico!

• A historic “Grito”: First-grade and sixth-grade students stepped into the shoes of Miguel Hidalgo and other iconic figures of the Independence movement to deliver the traditional “Grito” before all their classmates in preschool, elementary school, and middle school.
• Wearing the country's colors: To fully participate in the celebration, all students were invited to come dressed in Mexico's colors or in traditional attire.

A warm, colorful, and friendly celebration to honor the culture of our beautiful Mexico together!
